MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday said the government would ramp public spending to boost year-end economic growth, which was dragged down by a corruption scandal.
In a press conference in Malacañang, Marcos said the drop in economic growth and the value of peso could not be solely attributed to the anti-corruption probe on public infrastructure.
